One of our corporate clients asked MGN Events to provide venue finding and full event management for their annual Christmas party. We needed somewhere suitable to host a conference for employees, provide a luxury experience for senior partners in the business and then an amazing Christmas dinner for everyone.
We turned to the Cotswolds and a five-star hotel with excellent conference facilities, spa and dining space for 60 guests. We were responsible for all technical and creative design, along with sourcing and coordinating all suppliers involved in delivering a five-star experience.
For the dinner itself we dressed the venue entrance and dining area in a luxury winter woodland theme, right down to snow drifts. Tables were decorated with beautiful centrepieces featuring bark, garlands, red berries, gold baubles, cinnamon sticks and glittery leaves. Festive props continued the theme, including snow covered Christmas trees, white twig trees and wicker reindeer, and ivory candles, fairy lights and uplighting added further to a warm and magical atmosphere. Following dinner, guests enjoyed a tasting session of Welsh ales, mulled wine, mince pies and Scottish whiskey.
