Amazing to work with
Louise was absolutely amazing to work with – always available by email or phone, unflappable in the face of last-minute changes and additions – she found a way to make everything work. I also can't speak highly enough of the on-site team.
eXp UK
Objective
eXp UK brought 400 self-employed estate agents from across the UK together for a two-day national conference. The goal: unite their growing network, share business strategy, showcase success stories, and energise their community for the year ahead.
The challenge was familiar to any comms or events lead: deliver an inspiring, well-paced experience for hundreds of delegates, while juggling last-minute changes, high expectations and multiple internal stakeholders. It needed to feel professional, connected and energising. And it needed to run like clockwork.

The brief
eXp’s internal events team asked MGN Events to be their delivery partner and operate as an extension of their team to support with venue sourcing and coordination, technical production, branding and all onsite logistics across the two-day event.
They needed a team that could take ownership, respond quickly to change and bring a level of detail and care that would reflect positively on their brand and leadership. From delegate flow to AV management, this was about creating confidence and control, both for the guests in the room and the team behind the scenes.
The client had run the event before but needed a more elevated and professional feel. Crucially, they needed a partner who could simplify the process and help everything run smoothly behind the scenes.

The solution
At the heart of our approach was partnership. We worked closely with eXp’s internal events lead to design and deliver an experience that balanced bold brand moments with behind-the-scenes calm, giving their team the confidence that every detail was under control.
From the first briefing call to the final delegate departing, we took the pressure off the internal events team and took full ownership of production, AV coordination, branding and supplier liaison, freeing our client to focus on messaging and stakeholder engagement, rather than operational details.
The delegate experience was mapped from end to end. A branded welcome desk created a strong first impression, along with a custom designed step repeat for a great photo opportunity and social reach. We supported with onsite badge printing (so late sign-ups still had matching, professional name tags), prepared 400 goodie bags the night before, and stayed on site throughout to ensure all delegates received the best experience.

The main conference room was designed for visual clarity and brand consistency with custom stage flats and lecterns, dynamic lighting, and an large LED screen framed with care.
Our team were embedded onsite across both days, managing AV cues, adapting to live changes, and working directly with eXp’s speakers, including Olympian Victoria Pendleton, to support smooth, confident delivery.

We also solved common challenges that often trip up internal teams. Last-minute delegate registrations? We printed matching badges on the spot, no hand-written compromises. Exhibitor engagement? We placed all stands alongside catering to maximise dwell time without disruption.
And when the agenda shifted or decisions changed, which they always do, our team responded instantly and calmly, with no impact to flow or quality. Our showcaller bridged the gap between production and content, giving our client one clear voice of control at every stage.

The goal for this year’s event was to elevate from previous years and include a range of interactive elements including Q&A sessions with catch box microphone, inspirational Keynote speeches from successful agents, Jason Bradbury – host of the Gadget Show and now a leading voice on AI and current transformational tech trends, authors Mark Manson and Roger Martin-Fagg, and a fireside chat with Sir Chris Hoy!

On the morning of Day 2, the client organised a fun run led by Olympians Victoria Pendleton and Roger Black. We framed the start and finish line with colourful balloon towers and supported with medals for every runner.
We also helped deliver a smaller private reception that evening for senior delegates, complete with drinks, canapés, background music and lighting.
