Experiential events agency
MGN Events is an experiential events agency. We design, build and run brand activations, pop-ups, roadshows and immersive experiences for marketing teams, in London, across the UK and in Europe. We are full service: one team runs creative, production and delivery, with our own warehouse for custom builds and specialist partners for fabrication, set design and joinery when a project needs them. That is why a two-city pop-up for e.l.f. went from brief to opening in three weeks, and why a TikTok Shop stand for d’Alba took 17 days from contract to install. Experiential marketing works when people take part; our job is to make that happen on time, on budget, and with numbers to show for it. Part of our brand experience agency work, alongside brand activations and brand events.
Experiential marketing that gets people talking
Experiential marketing helps brands move beyond passive advertising and create genuine audience participation. Instead of simply telling people about a product, service or idea, it invites people to experience it through memorable, shareable interactions.
Our guide to what experiential events are explains how brands use live experiences to create deeper audience engagement.
Whether the objective is building awareness, launching something new or strengthening brand perception, experiential marketing creates meaningful connections between brands and audiences. From immersive experiences and public activations to content-generating campaign moments, it turns engagement into measurable impact.
Some recent numbers:
- 2,000+ shoppers matched to a shade in six days: e.l.f. Soft Glam pop-up, Manchester and London
- 280,000 impressions in 48 hours: At Home with HiPP
- £23,000 of sales from two days on a stand: d’Alba at TikTok Shop
- 1,000+ influencers in three cities: e.l.f. Glow Tour, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo
Why Brands Invest In Experiential Marketing
People are exposed to thousands of marketing messages every day. Experiential marketing helps brands break through that noise by creating moments that audiences actively participate in, rather than simply observe.
The most effective campaigns build awareness, encourage engagement and create emotional connections that last beyond the experience itself. They generate content, conversation and advocacy, extending brand reach well beyond the live audience.
Whether delivered through product launches, brand activations, roadshows, pop-ups or large-scale public experiences, experiential marketing forms part of a wider brand and marketing events strategy focused on creating meaningful interactions that bring brands closer to their audiences.
Full-service experiential event production
Every successful experiential marketing campaign starts with a clear objective. Whether you’re launching a product, building awareness or creating a moment designed to generate conversation, we develop concepts that support measurable outcomes.
Our creative design, event production and event management teams work together from day one, combining strategic thinking with practical delivery to bring ambitious ideas to life.
From immersive environments and branded installations to content capture and live production, we manage every stage. We make custom pieces in our own warehouse in Windsor and bring in specialist partners for fabrication, set design and joinery when a project calls for it, with one MGN producer running the whole thing. That is what lets us say yes to short timelines and awkward spaces: a 15m by 7.5m build installed overnight in a shopping centre, a bespoke double-decker bus touring three Nordic cities, a shell-scheme stand turned into something people queued for. We also produce for other agencies: creative, advertising and marketing agencies come to us to produce their in-person events. If you have won the idea and need it built and run at the venue, that is a large part of what we do.

Questions people ask us
What is experiential marketing and why does it work?
Experiential marketing uses live experiences to create meaningful interactions between brands and audiences. Unlike traditional advertising, it encourages active participation, helping brands build awareness, strengthen engagement and create lasting emotional connections. It works because people are far more likely to remember experiences they have taken part in than messages they have simply seen.
What does an experiential events agency do?
It takes a marketing objective and turns it into something people can walk into. At MGN that means the concept, the design, the build, the staffing, the logistics and the live running of the event, all managed by one team, the same team behind our brand experiences and corporate events. We make custom pieces in our own warehouse and bring in specialist partners for fabrication, set design and joinery when a project needs them. Recent work includes pop-ups for e.l.f. in Manchester and London, a two-day creator event for HiPP, a TikTok Shop stand for d’Alba, a three-city roadshow for e.l.f. Beauty and a four-day press programme for Opera in Lisbon.
How do you measure the ROI of experiential marketing?
Success starts with clearly defined objectives. Depending on the campaign, we may measure audience engagement, footfall, dwell time, leads generated, social reach, content creation, brand sentiment or product interaction. We agree success metrics from the outset and provide post-campaign reporting to demonstrate performance against your goals.
Can experiential marketing integrate with our digital campaigns?
Yes. The most effective experiential marketing campaigns are designed to work alongside wider marketing activity, generating content, social engagement and audience interaction that extends far beyond the live experience. We consider content capture, shareable moments and campaign amplification from the outset, helping brands maximise the value of every activation.
Do you handle the creative concept as well as the build?
Yes. We develop the creative concept, design, production and delivery as one integrated process. Led by a creative director with a theatre background from the Central School of Speech and Drama, our team creates experiences that support clear campaign objectives while engaging audiences in memorable ways. From initial ideas through to build, staffing and live delivery, we manage the entire experience in-house.
Do you deliver experiential events in London and across the UK?
We deliver experiential marketing campaigns across London, throughout the UK and internationally. From city-centre pop-ups, exhibitions and festivals to retail spaces, public venues and multi-location activations, we create experiences wherever your audience is. Our in-house production capabilities and nationwide supplier network allow us to deliver consistently across a wide range of locations and environments.
How long does it take to produce an experiential event?
Faster than most people expect, if the brief is clear. The e.l.f. Soft Glam pop-up went from brief to opening in three weeks, including a 15m by 7.5m build. The d’Alba TikTok Shop stand took 17 days from contract to install. Multi-city roadshows and custom-built environments need two to four months, mostly for venue permissions and fabrication. The earlier we are in, the more options you have on venues and the less the build costs.
How much does an experiential event or brand activation cost in the UK?
Our projects start from about £15,000. A single-site pop-up or stand with a custom build, staffing and content capture typically runs £20,000 to £60,000. Two-city retail activations and creator events run £50,000 to £150,000. Multi-city roadshows with bespoke vehicles or structures start around £150,000. Venue hire, product and media spend are on top. We quote against your objectives, not a rate card, and we tell you early if the budget and the idea do not match. For activation-specific examples, see our brand activation agency page.
Do you produce experiential activations for other agencies?
Yes, and often. Creative, advertising, marketing and PR agencies bring us the idea and we design, build, staff and run it at the venue, under their name or ours. The e.l.f. Glow Tour and the Soft Glam pop-ups were delivered with Southpaw; the NFL activation for Ardmore is another. You keep the client relationship; we make the work happen on the day.
