THE BRIEF
Vegas Marquee Party
The brief was ambitious from the outset: bring the spectacle, glamour and energy of Las Vegas to the Surrey countryside and deliver it inside a marquee.
Our client wanted a high-impact private celebration that felt bold, indulgent and unapologetically fun. The kind of party that immediately transports guests somewhere else, where the everyday disappears and the night takes on a life of its own.
A Vegas marquee party was the clear creative direction, but the challenge lay in execution. This wasn’t about themed props dropped into a tent. It needed to feel immersive, polished and believable. From the first glimpse on arrival through to the final song on the dancefloor, the experience had to feel theatrical and seamless.
THE SOLUTION
We installed a 20m x 9m marquee within the grounds, carefully positioning it to work with the existing landscape rather than against it. A water feature and surrounding foliage were cleverly incorporated into the overall design, adding depth and contrast to the high-energy interior that awaited inside.
Clear marquee walls were a deliberate choice. As guests approached, they could see straight into the space, catching glimpses of lighting, colour and movement. It created anticipation before anyone had even stepped inside and set the tone for the evening ahead.
Externally, architectural lighting washed the structure in rich colour, ensuring the marquee felt like a destination in its own right rather than a temporary structure. The transformation began long before guests reached the door.
Arrival Experience
For a Vegas marquee party to truly land, the arrival has to feel special. We designed a VIP-style entrance complete with red carpet, roped walkways and dramatic lighting cues. Guests were welcomed like high-rollers, setting the expectation that this was no ordinary celebration.
That sense of theatre carried through the threshold. From the moment guests entered, it was clear that every detail had been considered to support the story and the mood.
Inside, the marquee was transformed into a plush, high-end club environment inspired by classic Las Vegas nightlife. A rich palette of red and black created instant drama and warmth, while layered textures and lighting added depth and sophistication.
Rather than a single open space, we divided the marquee into distinct zones, each with its own energy and purpose. This helped manage flow, encouraged exploration and kept the experience feeling dynamic throughout the night.
The layout included a stylish club lounge for relaxed conversation, a high-energy dancefloor, a central bar and, of course, a fully themed casino area. Each zone felt connected but purposfully different, allowing guests to move seamlessly between moments of excitement and moments of pause.
Lighting played a crucial role in bringing the Vegas marquee party to life. Intelligent moving lights, wireless uplighters and lasers were carefully programmed to shift throughout the evening, building energy as the night progressed.
Vertical smoke jets punctuated key moments on the dancefloor, creating visual impact without overwhelming the space. Combined with nightclub-style lighting effects, the result was an atmosphere that felt vibrant, immersive and constantly evolving.
A top DJ anchored the experience, reading the room and driving the party forward. From early evening drinks through to late-night dancing, the soundtrack supported the flow of the night and kept the energy exactly where it needed to be.

To add authenticity and playful glamour, Playboy Bunnies served drinks and canapés throughout the evening. It was a detail that immediately reinforced the theme and added a sense of fun without tipping into parody.
The casino area became a natural focal point, drawing guests in and encouraging interaction. It offered a change of pace from the dancefloor while still keeping the atmosphere lively and social.
As with all our events, the real work was happening quietly behind the scenes. Our team managed timings, technical cues, supplier coordination and guest flow, ensuring the experience felt effortless for everyone attending.
This Vegas marquee party delivered exactly what the client had hoped for: a night that felt extravagant, immersive and full of energy. The marquee was completely transformed, not just visually but emotionally, taking guests on a journey from Surrey to the Las Vegas strip and back again.
