Freedom! But we’ll still be happy to deliver virtual corporate events
Freedom Day. It came, it went, it signaled a return to normality of sorts. So we’re back to business as usual, planning ‘real’ corporate events and putting a dust sheet over our virtual event studio, right? Not quite!
Virtual corporate events have more than proved their worth
Obviously, we’re delighted that events can once again take place. But the world has changed. Business has changed. Business culture has changed. Working remotely and conducting meetings online have become standard and, as many of our corporate clients have discovered, replacing physical events with virtual versions has been an eye opener – any worries that a virtual event would be an inferior facsimile of ‘the real thing’ have been quickly dispelled. Indeed, many of the corporate virtual events we’ve delivered have created new and exciting opportunities for our clients.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, virtual corporate events are here to stay. They have earned their place in the corporate events calendar and will happily rub shoulders with ‘traditional’ corporate events where everyone can meet in person.
Why choose to hold a corporate event virtually?
Opting for a virtual corporate event really is a matter of individual choice. What works for one company may not work for another, but it’s another option to consider when deciding how best to deliver an event and how to achieve the strategic objectives of that event. With many companies continually looking critically at their carbon footprint, virtual corporate events can only be positive.
The world is your oyster, even on a virtual platform
From internal comms events and employee engagement to B2B conferences, we’ve planned, organised and managed a wide variety of virtual corporate events over the last year and have delivered impressive results for our clients. With the right knowledge and expertise, a virtual corporate event can be every bit as , every bit as enjoyable and memorable for delegates, as one held in a swanky London venue.
The key ingredients for a successful virtual corporate event
Over the course of several articles we’re going to look in more detail at some of the key elements of a successful virtual event – and why it’s well worthwhile involving an event management company to help you deliver yours. Even though we’ve all mastered Zoom and Teams et al over the last year or so, a corporate virtual event should be seamless, professional, creative and technically robust. Hitches and glitches during a team meeting on Zoom can be forgiven, issues in delivering a conference or product launch to hundreds would be embarrassing and could, potentially, cause damage to your brand.
From the content itself to how key messages are delivered and how to keep your audience engaged, we’re going to give some insight into how to make your next virtual corporate event a rewarding experience for those attending. Watch this space!
