What types of events suit a luxury marquee party?
Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, garden celebrations, private festivals, summer parties, engagement parties, intimate dinners and any occasion where you want a bespoke, high-end experience at your own home or a private venue. A marquee gives you total creative freedom over the space, layout and atmosphere.
Can you build a marquee on any type of ground?
In most cases, yes. We work on lawns, fields, driveways, tennis courts and uneven terrain. Our production team conducts a thorough site survey and advises on the best structural solution, flooring and drainage for your specific location. We have delivered marquee events on everything from manicured gardens to open farmland.
What is included in a luxury marquee party package from MGN?
We do not offer set packages. Every marquee party is individually designed around you. Our full-service management covers the marquee structure, flooring, power, heating or cooling, lighting, sound, furniture, styling, catering, entertainment, production and on-the-day coordination. You have a dedicated project manager throughout.
How much does a luxury marquee party cost?
Our private events typically range from around £75,000 to over £500,000 depending on scale, styling, entertainment and production. A marquee build adds structural costs, but it also gives you total design freedom that a fixed venue cannot offer. We provide a transparent, itemised quote so you understand exactly where your investment goes.
How long does it take to build and dismantle a marquee?
Build times depend on size and complexity. A standard luxury marquee takes two to five days to construct and style. Larger or more complex builds, including structures with multiple rooms, solid walls or elaborate interiors, may require longer. We manage the full build and breakdown timeline so it causes minimal disruption to you.
Do you use your own production equipment for marquee events?
Yes. We have our own warehouse in Windsor stocked with AV, lighting, sound and production equipment. This gives us direct control over quality and means we can respond to changes quickly without waiting on third-party suppliers. For marquee events specifically, having our own kit is a significant advantage for build coordination.
How far in advance should I book a luxury marquee party?
Six to twelve months is ideal for a marquee event, particularly for summer dates. This allows time for the site survey, structural planning, creative design and supplier coordination. For simpler builds, three to four months can work. We have also delivered events at very short notice when required.
